We are Wellington-based and huge supporters of local and national animal-based charities, and as our quantity of product testers proves, we are suckers for a rescue pet of our own!
Supporting local and national animal charities and rescue shelters
There are so many brilliant animal charities and rescue groups that could benefit from our support, so we started the Wellington Barket. This has been an awesome and fun way to raise funds for some of these charities.

For HUHA NZ we raised $1800

For Ellie’s Canine Rescue and Rehome we raised $2000

For Retired Working Dogs NZ we raised $2300

The BARKET is a pawsome, dog-friendly market day
We at Felix’n’Fido organise the Barket but it is also supported by many other pet-related businesses, large and small, from around New Zealand. We come together to raise much-needed funds for charities and animal rescues that do amazing and tireless work.
Animal rescue is very close to our hearts as all of our family pets have come from rescue shelters. It gives us immense pleasure knowing we can help animals that just need a little extra love and care through no fault of their own.
Our first Wellington Barket was a great success, a super fun day and collectively we raised $1800 for HUHA NZ!
